Assassin’s Creed Odyssey gets 60 FPS patch on current-gen consoles
Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has been updated to add 60 frames per second support for current-gen consoles.
This means PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players will be able to enjoy Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which was released in 2018, at 60 FPS through backwards compatibility. The update launched August 24, as announced in a tweet. No further updates to the game were made available.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey launched in 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and the game’s FPS has been locked at 30 FPS ever since. The game’s successor, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, has enjoyed 60 FPS on current-gen consoles since its launch last year.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is a third-person action RPG made and published by Ubisoft. In the game, players take control of a mercenary who fights on both sides of a conflict between Athens and Sparta as they attempt to find their family.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
