Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players can level up faster by buying an XP boost
Players of the Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla can increase the amount of experience they earn in the game with fifty percent. To acquire this XP boost, which speeds up levelling in the game and thus making it possible to finish the game faster, gamers need to pay 1000 Helix credits, equivalent to £8.58/€10.
The XP boost is valid throughout the game and therefore needs to be purchased only once. There is also a more expensive variant available which includes a fifty percent increase in acquiring in-game currency. Players do not need the boost to finish Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, but it will make the process easier, faster and, arguably, less arduous.
The previous iteration of Assassin’s Creed, Odyssey, also sported the option to buy an XP boost, garnering critique from gamers. It seemed at first Ubisoft listened to these comments, not including the controversial XP boost when Valhalla launched. But now, with the recent 1.1.0 update, it is back. It is possible Ubisoft had the XP boost put in due to criticism of how long it takes to finish Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Concluding the main story of the game can take up to 50 hours.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is developed by Ubisoft Montreal, published by Ubisoft and is the twelfth major instalment in the popular Assassin’s Creed series.
